She's Like the Wind
I don't know how reliable this is but Fox News is reporting that Patrick Swayze has five weeks to live. Apparently he has pancreatic cancer that has spread. I hope this isn't true.
* update: Patrick Swayze does have pancreatic cancer but reports now say the prognosis is not as grim.

Angel Eyes
Sad to report the death of Jeff Healey, from cancer at the age of 41. You may not know him initially but you know this song, Angel Eyes, which was probably one of the best middle school slow songs ever (circa 1990). I don't know how to embed YouTube stuff yet but here's a link to the sweet song. It's also a sweet video.
